We Lock It In for You

Once you pick a bike and we confirm it is free, we hold it under your name. No advance payment needed at this stage — just a confirmed date and time for pickup. We will send you the address and a quick checklist of what to bring.

Walk In, Show Your Papers, Ride Out

Come to our Valasaravakkam office with your original driving licence and an Aadhar card. We do a quick walk-around of the bike together, collect the rental fee plus refundable deposit, hand you a helmet, and you are off.

Bring It Back, Get Your Deposit

When your rental period wraps up, ride back to our shop. We inspect the bike together — if everything checks out, your full deposit goes straight back to you. The whole return takes about five minutes.

ANNARADDY VANDI is not a tech startup or a franchise outlet. It is a one-person operation run by Rajaappan Anna M. Raddy out of Valasaravakkam. The idea behind it was straightforward — give people in Chennai a place where they can rent a clean, well-serviced bike without dealing with surge pricing, hidden charges, or customer care hold music.

Every bike in our fleet goes through a proper service check before it reaches the next rider. We price everything upfront, answer our phone during working hours, and return deposits the same day you bring the bike back in good shape.

Common Questions

Stuff Riders Usually Want to Know

Two things: your original Indian driving licence with the correct vehicle class, and a government-issued photo ID such as an Aadhar card. For anything above 50cc, the licence needs a motorcycle endorsement — that is a legal requirement under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

Scooters carry a ₹2,000 deposit. Commuter bikes range from ₹2,000 to ₹3,000. Touring and premium machines go from ₹5,000 to ₹7,000. The full amount comes back to you once we confirm the bike is returned in the same condition.

No — fuel is on you. We note the tank level at pickup and expect it back at roughly the same level. If there is a shortfall, we deduct a small fuel adjustment from your deposit before returning it.

One day — that means 24 hours from the time you pick up the bike. We also offer weekly and monthly plans that work out cheaper per day. If none of the standard plans fit, ask us for a custom quote.

Late returns are charged at ₹100 per hour past the agreed time. If the delay crosses four hours, we may charge a full extra day. Give us a heads-up if you are running late — we are usually flexible when you communicate in advance.

Every rental includes basic third-party insurance as required by Indian law. Comprehensive own-damage cover is not included. If the bike picks up scratches or damage while it is with you, the repair cost will be your responsibility.

Trips within Tamil Nadu are absolutely fine. If you plan to cross state borders, let us know beforehand so we can hand you the right vehicle documents. There may be a small additional charge depending on the route and duration.

Cash, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), and bank transfers via NEFT or IMPS. We collect the rental fee and security deposit together at the time of pickup.

Our office is at No 10, 1, Radhakrishnan St, Subramania Salai, Fathima Nagar, Valasaravakkam, Chennai 600087. It is easy to find and well connected by bus and metro. Drop us a WhatsApp message if you need directions.

Call our support line right away. If the issue is mechanical and not caused by misuse, we will either send someone to help or arrange a replacement bike, depending on your location and what is available. Support operates during business hours — 7 AM to 10 PM every day.
